MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS
The bond between mother and daughter holds everything — love, resistance, admiration, disappointment, and an inevitable resemblance. Sometimes tenderness. Sometimes a distance that cannot be fully named.
This fragile balance has long fascinated me and became the foundation of my photographic series Mothers and Daughters.
When a mother and daughter stand before me, their story reveals itself in subtle details — in posture, in the space between them, in the way they touch… or don’t.
I do not create a family document or an image of perfect harmony. Each session is a carefully staged encounter, open to what naturally unfolds. Tension and tenderness carry equal weight; similarity and difference matter the same.
The series remains open and continues to grow with each new pair.
